How to Install the TDL File in Tally

Step 1. Go to Gateway of Tally.
Step 2. Then Press Ctrl+Alt+T button
Step 3. Now Press F4 Button or Click on “Manage Local TDL” button
Step 4. Now do “Yes” to “Loan TDL Files on Startup” option
Step 5. Now in the next line “List of TDL Files to preload on Startup” Enter the TDL File Path or Location Like “E:File.tdl”
Step 6. Now save the settings
Your TDL File is ready to use.

  1. TDL coding is Very nicely explained and in a very simple language. I was searching for TDL code for printing/ exporting Sales/ Purchase Register (with HSN Code) to excel format.
    I came across to this wonderful video alongwith TONS of useful TDLs. I really liked the way Mr.Nazim Khan explained the Full coding of a TDL formation technique. I am very much impressed.

    1. Sir, is there a technique/ code by which we can make this TDL extension “PASSWORD PROTECTED”, such that only key people are allowed to open this TDL option?
